Fitzpatrick Rail Services Who We Are Mike Fitzpatrick the owner of FRS started his railroad career in 1969 as a laborer in the Penn Central Collinwood Diesel Locomotive Shop in Cleveland Ohio. Over the next several decades, he worked as an Locomotive Electrician, Gang Foreman, Training Specialist, and Manager of Locomotive Technical Services. Mike's older brother Fenton (Skip) Fitzpatrick career started in Collinwood as an Electrician Apprentice. After completing his time Skip worked in the running repair gang at the Terminal, became a Foreman, General Foreman, Training Specialist and was Shop Manager at Avon Indiana, and Conway, Pennsylvania. After leaving Conrail in a Management buyout in 1996, Mike and Skip worked together and separately developing and presenting training (AIT Philadelphia CSX new hire Managers, Electricians, Machinists), making training videos for Conrail and other clients such as GE and EMD, fixing problems and consulting for locomotive manufacturers, sub vendors and repair companies. Skip has worked in Russia, Mongolia, Estonia, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and Mexico, Mike has worked on projects in Chile, Brazil, Mexico, England and in just about every state in the union for every class one RR. With the friends made during a lifetime of railroad work FRS can field a veritable all star team. If you need a team that knows how to solve locomotive/railroad related problems FRS is the team for you.
